Our values
Knowledge Sharing.
Knowledge is King, but we have no hierarchy when it comes to sharing with one's subjects. The Learning Lab is built on the very foundation of personal and business growth through knowledge sharing experiences. We will provide the building bricks to your success.
Creative.
‘Mankind has had no greater gift than a boundless imagination’. That’s the way we see things round our way. It’s often said that imitation is the biggest form of flattery; well we want to ignite your peoples creative spark to help their fire burn brighter than ever before.
Passionate.
We believe passionately in making a difference in people's lives. It’s why we come to work. It’s what makes us feel great about our daily lives. It’s the very reason we exist.
Pioneering.
Original concepts can change lives for many of us. Our approach to learning is truly unique, not in a wacky over eccentric manner. Unique in the sense that we blend easily understood conceptual experiences and fuse them with business and personal growth.
About Scott Leiper
Most of our programmes are delivered by me, Scott Leiper; although I sometimes bring in associates to work on specific projects.
I have over 15 years progressive learning and development experience in a variety of guises. Having never really been big on the career “masterplan”; I have always made professional choices on the basis of personal challenge vs self-fulfilment as opposed focusing on roles or status.
I have gained industry recognition for my conceptual training programmes; with my work being short-listed in the Top 5 for both The Training Journal and CiB awards.
I feel very privileged to be involved with such a diversity of people in my everyday experiences. Having the opportunity to affect change in people and organisations is an enormously powerful and rewarding practice. In return I get the chance to be involved with some inspiring and passionate people whilst paying the bills into the bargain!
I live by the coast - all be it the Scottish coast - tropical it is not; beautiful it certainly is. I fill my life with learning experiences and doing other things that bring me pleasure, such as spending time with family and friends, going to gigs, cooking, football, reading like mad (non fiction only) and continually enhancing my CIPD membership. My wife Mairi and my children, Ava and Camron give me a greater sense of fulfilment than I could possibly express.
Our organisations are dominated by change; be it change of culture, human behaviour or trading climate. It is the one constant in our working and personal lives. That why I do what I do; to enable change in you, your people and your organisation.
